This detailed tour of Prague in two half days is the “Ideal LUXURY PRAGUE itinerary”. Highly recommended by previous clients and the local guides!
After 20 years of experience we have carefully planned the itinerary and timing. So you get the most of your Prague stay. There will be about 4 hours of sightseeing every day (driving and walking). You will set the ratio directly with your guide, depending on your current enery level etc.
+ There will be the time to slow down at the unique places. Relax and get the indulging coffe and cake (or the local beer, wine and delicatessen). “Stop and smell the roses” :-), you deserve it!
Itinerary
2 x 4 hours sightseeing (driving and walking)+ 2 hours relax
First Day
9:00 AM Start at the reception of your hotel with the info session. Get a small welcome present: envelope with helpful travel tools, maps, book marks and local sweet treat.
The early morning time will give us chance to enjoy the charming spirit of Charles Bridge without crowds.
Then we will explore the Old Town of Prague: the picturesque Old Town Square with the amazing Astronomical clock, Gothic Týn Church with two spiky towers, richly decorated Nicholas Church, the hidden Ungelt yard, Celetná Street with the cubist house of Black Madonna, the Jakub church with favorite organ of of Antonin Dvorak, the dark Powder Gate, fancy Art Nouveau Municipal House and much more.
We vill visit the enigmatic Jewish Town and explore the rich heritage of the Prague Jewish community and Franz Kafka. Hear the legends of monster Golem and old cemetery. Entry fee into the Jewish museum and the cemitary is included in the price.
We vill drive around the New Town of Prague to see the places of the Velvet revolution, interesting modern architecture and feel the current Prague life at: Wenceslas Square, Charles Square, National Street, Dancing House, glamour buildings of National Museum and National Theatre.
Around 13:00 PM At the end we will enjoy the special view of the Astronomical clock from the stylish hidden café. Do not stay in the crowds as usual tourists, but sit in a luxurious café and open the window above the crows! When watching the clock show we will sit, enjoy the coffee and a local cake. (I always get a royal feeling there 🙂 Probably the best view on the Old Town Square.
Drive back to the hotel, or any other place in Prague, that you prefer.
13:30 Finish at the hotel.
Second Day
9:00 AM On the second day we will explore the Hradčany Town And driving tour os Strahov views. Second day we will enjoy the mighty Prague Castle: Hradčanské Square, Prague Castle with glorious Saint Vitus Cathedral, ancient Bazilique of St. George, Old Royal Palace, cute Golden Lane. Entry fee to the 5 sites of the Castle area is included in the price.
Around 13:00 PM At the end of the tour we can enjoy a local beer and typical local delicatessen (selection of the small snacks). Drive back to the hotel, or any other place in Prague, that you prefer.
13:30 Finish at the hotel.
The timing may slightly differ during the year, depending on the traffic and events beyond our control.
